Lakeland's Largest Used Book Store!

BookaReaderville celebrates the legacy of bookselling at 2120 S. Combee Rd. in Lakeland with a brand-new book shop, brand-new owners, and a new inventory of used books, in the location that has been the heart of used-book shopping in Lakeland for three decades!

For over 30 years, shopkeepers have sold used books at 2120 S. Combee Rd. The Book Bazaar, a Lakeland staple, packed the 4,000 square foot shop with a wide array of used books for decades. After changing hands a few times, the shop was rechristened Inklings following the most recent sale in 2020. At the end of 2023, Inklings relocated to 243 North Florida Avenue in downtown Lakeland. With Inklings' departure from the longtime home of the Book Bazaar on Combee Road, the proprietors of The Book Shelter in Winter Haven/Dundee are thrilled to launch BookaReaderville in the historic location at 2120 S. Combee Rd. The owners are longtime Book Bazaar customers, having shopped on Combee Rd. for decades, and they will work to honor the location's history by offering a wide selection of used books at fantastic prices. The old and the new blend together, bringing Lakeland a shop that honors the story of the Combee Road location.
